ON is a creation of Philippe Orrico following the launch of his first solo venture, Upper Modern Bistro, in 2013.
With ON, Philippe is joined by three long-time friends and rising stars in the Hong Kong restaurant scene – General Manager and cheese master Jeremy Evrard (former director of restaurants at the Four Seasons Hong Kong, who was instrumental in the hotel’s Caprice restaurant securing three Michelin stars during his stewardship), Operations Manager & Sommelier Nicolas Deneux (former head sommelier at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong) and Head Barman Giancarlo Mancino (international mixologist and bar consultant of Otto e Mezzo and Il Milione fame).
ON 28/f, Dining Kitchen
The menu is inspired by the fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors of southern Europe and the Mediterranean. It features comforting dishes that are simple and well executed plated in front of guests and accompanied by a selection of more delicate and elaborate side dishes.
Nicolas Deneux’s wine list will feature his personal favorites, referencing an eclectic mix of organic and boutique wine labels from all around the world, the widest selection of boutique champagne labels in Hong Kong and a special selection of fresh juices and beers.
ON 29/f, Lounge
Giancarlo will specialise in simple, classic cocktails, faultlessly delivered.
He will take the ceremony of cocktail making to guests, with a sleek gin trolley to prepare their desired cocktails table-side. On 29will pair small plates of food with the excellent wine list and also feature a Cheese Bar, and glass cheese room stocked with a large selection of cheeses.
